Aestimatio: Critical Reviews in the History of Science (old series, now discontinued) was an Open Access journal providing critical, timely assessments of books published in the history of what was called science from antiquity up to the early modern period in cultures ranging from Spain to India, and from Africa to northern Europe. The aim was to allow reviewers the opportunity to engage critically both the results of research in the history of science and how these results are obtained.
The IRCPS holds copyright to all items published in Aestimatio (old series) and offers them under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives License (CC BY-NC-ND). For details, see creativecommons.org/licenses/. Authors retain publishing rights without restriction.
